The Docs played Substitute with Roger Daltry to promote
the Pay-Per-View version of Daltry Does Townshend, which aired on February 26, 1994. Dave said “good to see you guys again” to the Spins right before he announced the song. This can be considered their 4th appearance with Dave, since the whole band was there. It was their 2nd time on the new CBS show.
