SD fan johnclore reports on the SD forum: “As a long-time fan of the Spin Doctors, I was not able to see them perform until last night in Nashville. The show was amazing and they reminded me why I loved them so much to start with. The fact that it´s still the original line-up is one of the most amazing things about these guys. And their musicianship is completely top-notch. Thanks for coming to the music city, and please come back soon!”
Here´s a review from forum member thespinsonme: “[…] A friend and I drove all the way from Toronto Canada to Tennessee to see the show, and it ROCKED!!! The setlist was great, with the standard opener What Time Is It, then Nice Talking To Me. Other songs from Kryptonite were Little Miss, Two Princes, Jimmy Olsen`s Blues (which was amazing) and Refrigerator Car (also absolutley phenomenal with Aaron doing all sorts of awesome drum solos during the opening).
That song also segued into Genuine which was perfectly done. Other new songs were Sugar (awesome), Margarita, I`d Like To Love You, Safety Pin, and Habit (awesome watching Eric soloing, man!!!) The encore included a surprise Big Fat Funky Booty (boy did that sound good) and very last song Yo Mama`s A Pajama with a spectacular ending.
All in all these guys put on the best show maybe except for Dream Theater who are just untouchable. These guys are just amazing, plus I got to have a 10 minute conversation with Mark in the bar and also quickly talk to Eric Aaron and Chris. It was really really awesome and I urge everyone to see this band live.”
