First studio album since “Nice Talking To Me” (2005). Produced by Spin Doctors, recorded & mixed by Roman Klun, mastered by Ted Jensen. Includes two brand new blues tunes (tracks 1, 2), five previously unrecorded and unreleased songs from the band’s early days (tracks 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9) and three re-arrangements and re-recordings of previously released material (tracks 5, 6 and 10). Sold for the first time during the band’s UK and Spain tour 2013. Official release April (Europe) and May (US).
An 180g audiophile vinyl pressing of the “If The River Was Whiskey” album with a different cover (left) was released via Ruf Records on July 19th, 2013.
Pocket Full Of Kryptonite - 20th Anniversary Tour Live!
Rock House Live, October, 2011
During the US PFOK anniversary tour in October 2011, the band recorded five shows from the opening notes until the last encore, and offered them for sale as limited-edition, double CD sets. Not to be confused with a “sound board” recording, these recordings are fully mixed and mastered on the fly.

Disc one of the double-CD 20th Anniversary Edition includes a re-mastered version of the classic album. Disc two is comprised of early demo recordings by the band and is a must-own for Spin Doctors fans. These demos were only ever available for sale at gigs on two cassettes, entitled Can’t Say No (1989) and Piece Of Glass (1990) […] Two of the demo tunes “Can t Say No” and “Turn It Upside Down” do not appear on any official Spin Doctors album. The package also includes new liner notes written Cree McCree and many rare, unseen and intimate photos and memorabilia from the band’s private collection. Available everywhere.

The first Spin Doctors album including new material since 1999’s “Here Comes The Bride” and the first album with the original band line-up since 1994’s “Turn It Upside Down”. Produced and mixed by Matt Wallace at Sound City, Van Nuys, CA and Studio Delux, Van Nuys, CA in fall 2004. Chris plays acustic guitar on track 6, Eric sings lead vocals on “Genuine”. Only guest musician is Vince Jones contributing keyboards to track 1, 4, 6 and 7. First single “Can’t Kick The Habit”, released as free download from the band’s official website.

Released June 1, 1999. Singles released off of this album: “The Bigger I Laugh, The Harder I Cry.” Track 15 is a hidden track: “Let’s Try Again” played backwards, with the intention of people reversing it with audio programs on their computer. Yet another line-up for this album: Eran Tabib takes the guitar parts this time out, and Ivan Neville plays keys and sings backup throughout the album. Mark White left halfway through the making of the album and so Aaron plays bass on tracks 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11. Aaron also plays the guitar and keyboard parts on a few tracks, in addition to his usual role of drums. Chris plays acoustic guitar on “Tomorrow Can Pay The Rent.” Produced by Aaron Comess, Peter Denenberg, and Spin Doctors

Released May 14, 1996. Singles released off of this album: “She Used To Be Mine.” “That’s The Way” was supposed to be the second single, but then the band left Epic Records. This is Spin Doctors first album with a different line-up, as Anthony Krizan plays guitar. “That’s The Way,” which is a cover of the K.C. and the Sunshine Band hit from the ‘70s, is a “hidden” track featuring Biz Markie on vocals. Biz Markie also adds vocals to “House.” The album ends with Tommy Chong providing a few seconds of humor. Produced by Danny Kortchmar and Peter Denenberg.

Released January, 1991. It was an E.P. released by Epic, recorded live at Wetlands Preserve in New York City on September 27, 1990. It was put out of print when the band saw that after the success of Pocket Full of Kryptonite people were selling the E.P. at L.P. prices. So, they re-released it as Homebelly Groove with new material from the same show and a few tracks from one other show, packed to nearly the full length of a CD so that people would get their money’s worth. Produced by Spin Doctors, Peter Denenberg, and Frankie LaRocka.
